overview.
An identity project for a marketing, promotions and communications company. A fun project for a team who love to have fun with their work and wanted their brand to reflect that.
brief.
The brainchild of Tracey Whittaker (her friends call her T), Twentieth Letter is a marketing, promotions and communications company. Philter were approached to redesign their existing brand identity, create a suite of business stationary and produce a brand spanking new website.
The new identity needed to be a stronger and more accurate reflection of the current business and culture, but also provide the foundation for future growth, development and increased profile of the business.
solution.
The logo focuses on the twentieth letter of the alphabet, 'T', the inspiration behind the company. Curly brackets were chosen to not only highlight the letter, making it a focal point of the logo, but also to reflect the essence of Twentieth Letter. Grammatically the curly brackets indicate a series of equal choices, representing that current and potential sub-brands of Twentieth Letter equally make up the whole. Strong, vibrant colours were chosen to bring personality to the brand, reflecting the progressive and dynamic internal culture of a team who love to have fun with their work. The colour palette also provides a point of difference for each sub-brand.
Overall the brand visualisation resulted in a strong, energetic foundation for a new enterprise to present itself in a professional and market appropriate manner, while allowing flexibility for future growth and development.
